Les Capucines is a beautifully restored 18th-century Charentaise farmhouse, built on the site of an old Roman encampment and now gathered into four spacious, well-appointed cottages. The property sits in a tranquil village, surrounded by fields of sunflowers — just a short walk to local shops, restaurants, cafés and bars, and twenty minutes from the nearest sandy beach.
Whether you've come to celebrate, reunite, or simply slow down, our four cottages share a sunlit terraced pool and gardens bathed in light from dawn to dusk.

A house remembered fondly — long after the last evening.
A perfectly restored farmhouse with all the charm of rural France and none of the discomfort. Marieke and Pieter looked after the twenty of us like old friends.
Our three families took the whole property for a fortnight. Children in the pool from breakfast, parents at the long table until late — every evening felt like the best evening.
We came for a wedding weekend and stayed an extra three days. The setting, the hosts, the food from the local market — utterly unrepeatable, and yet we've already booked again for next year.
Bring your people. We'll keep the table set.
Check availability for next summer, request a quote for the whole property, or simply write to us with your dates. We answer every enquiry personally — usually within a day.
